LIFELONG APPOMATTOX RESIDENT
Born and raised in Appomattox County, I understand our community's challenges and opportunities because I've lived them firsthand.
As a proud graduate of Appomattox County High School, I've watched our community evolve and face new challenges. Rather than leaving for opportunities elsewhere, I chose to stay and fight for the place that shaped me.
EXPERIENCE & SERVICE
Member, Appomattox Town Council
For the past five years, I've had the privilege of serving the people of Appomattox on Town Council. In a six-member body, meaningful progress requires more than a good idea, it takes quiet persistence, collaboration, and follow-through.
Key Accomplishments:
- Strengthened our partnership with the Sheriff's Office by securing dedicated funding lines for the K9 program, training, and officer equipment
- Marketed Appomattox to regional and national investors. Not every pitch succeeded, but one did: a planned $7 billion investment at the County IDA park
- Raised early concerns about our water access agreement expiring in 2030, beginning long-term planning
- Organized an Artificial Intelligence program at Appomattox County High School and secured $75,000 in funding for a GPU cluster, opening doors for our students in tomorrow's economy
- Ensured every regular council meeting is now recorded and uploaded to YouTube for public access
- Led the digitization of over a century of Times-Virginian archives and compiled council minutes dating to 1930
Member, Appomattox County Economic Development Authority
Gained valuable insight into economic development strategies and regional cooperation. Learned from some of the smartest men in the County about how to be part of a public board.
FAMILY & PERSONAL LIFE

I married Kaylee in October 2023. One year later we were blessed with our first child, Vienna. She serves as my daily reminder of why this work matters. When I cast votes or make decisions as your supervisor, I'll be thinking about the community she'll inherit.
Why I'm Running
"I make no claim to perfection, only to effort. I'm not here to govern like someone who has no one watching. I'm here to lead like someone whose daughter will one day ask why I voted the way I did — and I'll have an answer."
EDUCATION
Formal Education
- Appomattox County High School
- Central Virginia Community College

MY COMMITMENT TO YOU
I'm running for County Supervisor because I believe in Appomattox County's potential. We have challenges, but we also have incredible assets: hardworking people, natural beauty, rich history, and a strong sense of community.
I'll bring fresh perspective, proven experience in local government, and an unwavering commitment to transparency. Most importantly, I'll bring the urgency that comes from knowing this is my home, my daughter's future, and the place where I plan to live the rest of my life.
