Rank of Major.  Responsible for the day to day operations of the Sheriff’s Office.  In this position, Donald supervises 21 full time sworn deputies, five part-time deputies, and two civilians.  Additionally, Donald manages a 1.6 million dollar budget, federal and state grants, asset forfeiture, FOIA Compliance, department training, and evidence.

Donald worked diligently to solve violent crimes, sex offenses, and other crimes against people and property.  While in this position, he served on the Central Virginia Homicide Squad, the Central Virginia Computer Crimes Task Force, Southern Virginia Internet Crimes against Children Task Force, and served as a Tactical Team leader.
